Coach Café: A retro-chic escape with a playful pink twist, nestled along Keong Saik Rd

Welcome to the Coach concept store, tucked away along the charming streets of Chinatown (Keong Saik Rd). With a facade so inviting... it might as well have our names on the shopfront.

Stepping into Coach’s concept store feels like walking into a curated collection of creativity and style. The first floor draws you in with its sleek displays (gallery vibes), showcasing the latest collections. But it’s when you head upstairs that the magic truly unfolds. The second floor is split between a leather workshop, and Coachtopia: a vibrant, playful wonderland for our younger fashion lovers. Puffer bags (trendy, but could our young adults tire of them soon?) sit alongside quirky, witty slogans on totes and clothes... all bringing a playful energy to the space.

Now, back to the first floor, where the Coach Café awaits. Retro-themed, with Rexy the T-rex making appearances in [almost] every corner, on bags, cereal boxes, you name it. The whole place has a surrealist, almost movie-set feel. Think a stylish, pastel dream with a touch of whimsy. The best way to describe it is the Barbie movie, tbh. A trite comparison, but true.

Relatively empty, we had our pick of seats and naturally gravitated toward the cosy corner under the glass roof (where raindrops fell, turning it into a romantic afternoon). We ordered a café latte but skipped the Coach brownies (adorably stamped with the logo) because we were already too full. The coffee? Decent! The vibe? Soothing, unless you have a low tolerance for yellow, which practically drenches the space. It borders on overwhelming, but at least it’s a softer, pastel shade rather than a lemony one!

We loved how unique this Coach concept store feels. Unlike other luxury brands’ café setups, this one leans more down-to-earth, family-friendly, and dare we say fun. Go check it out!
